Client Requested For A ‘Futuristic’ Poem — A poem that painted her in a positive light.
I want a future where I have a loving family with kids, live in a beautiful house, have completed my degrees, have the perfect job I want, and have accomplished everything I want.
There’s sunshine in my hair!
I have to pretend but Julio is a dear…
The sound of the blue spring waters outside fills my ears,
As I brush my daughter’s hair on this beautiful Saturday morning!
Carry your backpack, Sophia’s older sibling says to her..!
It’s five minutes past my kids’ usual departure time for class…
Sophia has been on the piano since 11 am, mimicking my songs and performances,
And pretending to read the sheet music before they both go for their dancing lessons
My son is a scientific guru for his age and also the captain of his football team,
He speaks three languages and his English is almost as fluent as his Spanish…
He also communicates in French and his favorite TV show is Big Bang Theory,
Julio is a classic gentleman and a responsible older brother…
Sophia is a quick learner too but the real creative one in the family,
Like me, she is ever radiant and always spreads positivity to every room…
She says she wants to go into media and entertainment when she grows up,
But for the time being, I teach my daughter how to paint with home art lessons every evening…
Suddenly there are three sturdy knocks on our back door!
In comes, the man my handsome son is beginning to take after 🖤
My husband walks in with a basket of fruits and some of my favorite veggies,
Today is a special day so I plan to make equally special meals!
We now live in a meadow in Spain and we have the most beautiful views,
Of our garden and of grasslands nearby especially when observed from our kitchen window…
About to clock five years, Sophia is now exactly half her brother’s age,
Tomorrow is her birthday and my husband and I are doing our best to set the perfect stage!
