Two-Thirds!
A Poem.
Quick Q:
“If I call the fire department and a police car drives by, can we say that’s an Estimation?”
- Adeboye Oluwajuyitan, M.D. from Respectful Ideation (Poem — ESTIMATION).
TWO-THIRDS:
Poem — Date of Composition: 19th March 2024 | 06:28 pm PST.
Half and half,
Something like that!
Sack your distance over time,
Restore me, myself, and I!
I’m a clue so half past!
I’m subtle so laugh last!
I’m ‘undo so wry smile!
I’m humble so hi-five!
If X demands, then why should Y supply?
Love the mind but don’t see two Eyes
Restore the Rhyme, Restore the Clock
Beyond the mind, I hope you saw!
I hope you saw your something said!
Defend the mouth but don’t be bread!
No suit in line so join the beards!
I’m about to leave you for my voice, instead!
Instead of rhyming, repair your violin!
Instead of lying, respect my programming…
Instead of timing, restore my monogamy
And instead of fighting, become my global wind!
